The Steelhead fishing in the river and the Brown Trout fishing on Lake Ontario, are both fantastic right now. We have had blue bird skies with temps in the 70’s for almost a week. The Salmon river is slowly dropping. It will go till 2200cfs till tomorrow afternoon. We hope that the level stays up. The fishing is so good right now, we hate to see anything change. Browns are scattered all along the eastern shore of the lake. Water temps range from 47 – 52 degrees depending on where you are. Keep trolling till you catch a couple of fish and stay there. Don’t wander around. You won’t need to. We put one of the big charter boats in the water today. It’s hard to believe that another lake season is just around the corner.
