And so it had begun. ...

And so it had begun.

It got very rough this morning on the lake. We made it count early landing a mixed bag of browns, Salmon and even a 12lb lake trout. We cut the trip short as the waves got much bigger. Didn't take many pics but here are a few. ...

Great fishing today. Our guests Jeremy and Amy did a great job landing their limit and Amy got her first King. Great job guys. ...

Today's fishing trip with long time friend and client of more than 2 decades, Ron Krawlzik, was bitter sweet. It will be the last trip up for a while at least. Obligations and other changes in his life will keep him close to home but hopefully not for long.
One of his goals has always been to catch a trophy brown to add to his already large collection of mounts. Today we went for a big brown with the Crestliner. You never know how much you miss having a roof over your head like on the big boat. It poured the entire time we were out. Poured. Even with rain gear, I was soaked in 15 min. Ron proceded to catch browns. A couple of them were what he has been looking for. His two best were 12 lbs and 9.76 lbs. We did it Ron. God Bless and hope to see you again soon.

Another awesome trip on the lake in the books. We had the pleasure of taking some great friends out this morning for browns. Orin, Cherry, Taylor, Justin and Jeramy did well landing 9 fish. We would have easily had the 5 person limit if the other 8 fish had ended up in the net. ...

Salmon. Morning double.

Great time again on the lake today. With the Salmon fishing still being a little wierd for us lately, we decided to fish for lakers early and then try for Salmon. It took us a while to get the limit of Lake Trout but we did. The Salmon we had in the spot yesterday were gone. We did end up landing one nice king though. Back at it tomorrow. ...

We had a great day on the water today with our friends from Virginia. We decided to make a change today and fish for Lakers. We haven't fished for them yet this season. It worked out. They fought their 4 man limit of 8 and we still had time to try for Salmon. We had 3 bites and landed this beautiful fish weighing 25lbs. Thanks Joe, Roland, Gary and Wayne. See you in August. Here are a few pics. ...
