More then a foot of ice blankets the better part of the lake and the late ice perch and walleye bite is on. Oneida is know for its jumbo perch averaging 10 to 12 inches with larger fish not uncommon, and its many walleyes. Fish 18 to 25 feet of water near or on one of oneidas many shoals ( pancakes) with jigging raps, swedish pimples and tip-ups baited with buckeye minnows.
