Sorry for the lack of reports lately. We are very busy with school activities and also we are not fishing quite as much this time of the year. I guess lots of other people have kids and find it hard to get away on a fishing trip right now. It’s ok though. The 4th of July is almost here and from that point on…we fish…a lot. The fishing has been slow this month, but recently has improved. The Brown Trout and bait are now in 15 – 25 fow. Michigan Stingers in Black/silver and glow colors have been good off the riggers from 5 – 15 ft. down and orange bellied Smithwicks off the boards are also working. The past few days, the best action has been between the Salmon River and the Little Salmon River in 10 – 25 fow.
