A few Brown Trout pics!

We have had to work harder for our browns this season, but on the other hand the average size is larger. The wind has been blowing from a different direction every day, moving the bait and fish around. We have been fishing north of the salmon river in 40 to 60 feet of water,Riggers set …

A different plan

The Brown Trout fishing on Lady O has been slow to non-existent since last weekend. We had offshore winds most of the week and that pushes the warmer, stained water away from the shoreline and spreads the fish out, making it very difficult to find any number of browns. This being the case, we decided …

We have ended our river season for the Spring of 2010. Thank you to everyone who supported us. We had crazy conditions to deal with and you were patient and fished your tails off. See you this Summer or on the river in the Fall.

Some Big spring Browns!!

Beautiful day, good fishing

Had my good friend and long time client out today on the river. He landed a bunch and lost a few swingin’ streamers. Had a great time “Doc” thanx.

Water getting lower…fishing getting slower

Lot’s of fish in the river, but with the low, clear water and bright sunshine, the bite has been early. We have some cloudy, rainy weather headed our way, which will improve the fishing. They are all set to release fish from the hatchery in the next couple of days which will load up the …

Low water, cold front…still good fishing

Even with the river being lower than normal and a sudden cold snap, the Steelhead fishing is still good. The fish are spread throughout the river, and are being caught on plugs, beads, sacks, worms and flies.

Great fishing!!

This past week we were blessed with nice weather and great fishing. Water temp. is warming fast, and fish are very active. Fish are being taken along the entire river.

Salmon river Steelies!!

Water temps are warming up and fishing is improving. We have a great run of weather coming up, this will help even more. Egg sacs and night crawlers are working from the bank. Water flow is 1150 cfs. We will have a near shore brown trout report at the end of the week. Be safe …

Feels like Spring.

Spring has come very early this year. We are 2 – 3 weeks ahead of schedule with temps most days in the 50’s and 60’s. We have almost no snow left, it has all melted and found it’s way into the creeks and rivers making for some slower fishing as of late. Water temps are …
