Incredible spring season
The river is still running at 1800 cfs, which is great for the fishing, but we are getting a little worn out from rowing in the big water. The fish are spread throughout the river and biting well. We have been spending our time in the top half from Altmar to Rt. 2A. Steelhead are being caught on plugs, eggs, beads and worms. We are finding more and more fish in the faster water every day. This makes landing them a challenge.
- The “DOC” was in the house on Tuesday….again.
- Another beauty. The fish God’s love you Doc.
- This was the last of 7 steelies that Doc. Fatti landed by 8:45 am. See you next Thursday John.
- Larry and Terry with one of the fish they landed in the double they hooked up with.
- The other fish of the double. Great job guys!
- This was one of 9 steelies that the boys landed today. Fishing like this has been the norm. We are really blessed to have this fishery.
