Well, we had some tougher fishing over the weekend. The river came up to 1500cfs and now is 1800cfs which, down river, is well over 3000cfs with added runoff. Plenty of fish and, most days, plenty of hook-ups. Landing them has been a little hard some days though. Be very careful when wading the river. The water is high and cold. Another advantage of a drift boat. Here are a few photos from some recent trips.
- There have been some bright fresh fish moving in down below the 2A bridge. Nice job Jim.
- This fish didn’t stand a chance once Herbie got hold of him!
- Ok Kevin. Here you are. Now…you are famous! Hope to fish with you again soon.
- One of many Salmon River browns our anglers have caught this spring.
