- Can’t remember how many years we have fished together Brian, at least 13, but I am glad you are able to experience this awsome fishery that we have right now. It hasn’t always been this good, but you stuck with it.
The fishing on the Salmon River is still red hot. Steelhead are spread throughout the river and, with the water being up, are biting well. With the recent rain that we have recieved and more expected, the water should stay up for a while. The bank fisherman are catching fish on eggs and flies. We have been plug fishing with Hot Shots and Rapala’s.

Yes Todd, it’s been 13-14 years, and as always, the fishing and company was the best. Already looking forward to the summer and then the spring for some more terrific fishing with you.
