Heavy rain. Heavy fish.

To say that we got some rain early in the week… would be an understatement. Sunday, the fishing was good, until the rain came. After the downpour started, we didn’t do much. Before that, the fish bit well. With all the rain we have gotten this year, we should be in good shape on the river. Plenty of water to float with drift boats. We have been in 85 - 100 ft. of water neat Catfish Creek for a week now and it is loaded with fish and bait. Michigan Stingers off the rigs and on divers have worked well.

- Bob… that 14lb. brown is probably the largest I have seen………NOT! It is a great fish though. You should be proud. Don’t forget to brag.
