Great weather…Great fishing
- A beautiful spring steelie.
- This trout was the prettiest of the day. Much prettier than any of Jim’s.
- One of 9 steelies. Wow!
- This fish was much nicer than any of the ones that Jim caught and faught harder too.
- Another beautiful day on Lake Ontario. We caught some nice browns but most of the action was very early.
- Nice job Dan!
- Spring browns like this one have quite an appetite as you can see by it’s swollen belly. Nice job Dean.
The Steelhead fishing in the river and the Brown Trout fishing on Lake Ontario, are both fantastic right now. We have had blue bird skies with temps in the 70’s for almost a week. The Salmon river is slowly dropping. It will go till 2200cfs till tomorrow afternoon. We hope that the level stays up. The fishing is so good right now, we hate to see anything change. Browns are scattered all along the eastern shore of the lake. Water temps range from 47 - 52 degrees depending on where you are. Keep trolling till you catch a couple of fish and stay there. Don’t wander around. You won’t need to. We put one of the big charter boats in the water today. It’s hard to believe that another lake season is just around the corner.

Todd,
Thanks again for an awesome drift boat trip!!
We caught a lot of fish and had a great time. We really enjoyed the day on the river and appreciate the job you did for us with putting on the fish and your handling of the boat.
We are both looking forward to coming back soon for another great fishing trip!!!
Thanks again,
Jim and Mary
