- Troy with a nice cold water steelie.
- Another COLD water trout for Troy. Nice job!
- The sun finally came out as John landed this beautiful dropback steelie.
- See, the sun does shine up here.
- This Brown Trout darted out from a tree and then darted back in with the lure. John was able to skillfully work him back out.
- Even though the weather was terrible, rainy and cold, we thought we saw Mary Poppins on the river Friday.
- These very wet anglers worked hard for Friday’s catch.
Well the river went from 1800cfs to 5000cfs last night and then to 5800cfs this morning. We couldn’t get on the river today and may not tomorrow. We will have to see what the river does. The fishing on Thursday was great. For the most part, everywhere a lure was put, something grabbed it. It was good to see that the fish were that aggressive, even in this icy cold ( 34 degree ) water. Friday was much slower. A weather system came through with rain and heavy clouds. We usually find that this is good for Steelhead fishing, but we had to work really hard for them. Don’t forget to check the resources page for water levels and weather reports.
